I’m Jane, the founder and maker behind The Clan Cushion Company.

My journey began in 2011, inspired by a passion for interiors, traditional textiles, and the timeless beauty of Scottish tartans. What started as a small collection of handmade fringed cushions has since grown into a carefully curated range of products, including scarves, throws, and keyrings, all crafted from authentic, high-quality Scottish wool in my East Lothian workshop.

For me, working with tartan is about more than just fabric. It’s about heritage, sustainability, and creating items that carry meaning. Every cushion, scarf, and accessory is handmade with care, using natural wool that is eco-friendly, renewable, and truly built to last.

I believe that the details matter, from the authenticity of the materials I use to the way I connect with my customers and stockists.
