Once you send your request we'll usually reply within 24 hours. After your order is confirmed, made-to-order pieces typically take up to 5 to 7 working days, and Jane will keep you updated by email. We'll always give you a timescale before you go ahead.

Wherever possible, made-to-order pieces are priced the same as our standard range. [Some tartans are only available in longer lengths, which can add a little to the cost] — if that applies to yours, we'll tell you before you commit, so there are no surprises.

No. We're happy to make a single cushion, Scottie dog or keyring in your tartan.

Cushions, Scottie dogs and keyrings are all handmade to order in your chosen tartan. We can also supply scarves and throws woven in the same tartan. Just tell us what you'd like when you send your request.

In most cases, yes. Clan, family and district tartans (such as Edinburgh or a regional sett) are usually straightforward. We can look into corporate, commemorative and international tartans too. Send us the name and we'll check it can be woven.

That's fine, most people aren't. Just give us your surname or clan in the request form and we'll help identify the right one, including which version (Modern, Ancient, Weathered or Dress) suits you. You can also search the Scottish Register of Tartans.

Because bespoke pieces are made specially for you, they fall outside our standard 30-day returns. In practice Jane is always reasonable: if it's genuinely not right, get in touch and, within reason, she'll usually be able to take it back. Anything faulty is always put right.
