Handmade by Jane in her West Saltoun studio from authentic 100% pure new wool Scottish tartan, this cushion is in MacLean of Duart Ancient: strong red and green blocks framed by black, with yellow highlights. It comes in three sizes, as a cover only or with a duck feather pad.

Care

Wool is naturally dirt and stain resistant. A gentle brush or a shake outdoors keeps it fresh. For a mark, dab with a clean, damp cloth and a little wool-safe detergent, working from the outside in, then let it dry naturally. Please don't machine wash, tumble dry or wring it, as this can felt and shrink the wool. Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from damp. If a feather pad loses its shape, a gentle plump brings it back.

Virtue Mine Honour

The MacLeans, based at Duart Castle on the Isle of Mull, were famed for their warrior spirit and maritime strength. They played a central role in Highland conflicts, often allying with or opposing the powerful MacDonalds. Their castle remains a proud symbol of their heritage.

MacLean of Duart Ancient - Strong red and green blocks dominate this tartan, framed by black with highlights of yellow and light blue. Bold and vivid, it makes a confident design statement.
